About the Summit

The Teacher Leadership Summit, hosted by the Arizona Alliance of Black School Educators (AzABSE), brings together educators, leaders, researchers, and community partners from across Arizona to share innovative practices that support student success. The summit highlights strategies that strengthen culturally responsive teaching, leadership development, and equitable opportunities for all students.

Through interactive workshops, panel conversations, and collaborative learning experiences, participants exchange ideas, build partnerships, and elevate practices that advance educational excellence across our schools and communities.

We encourage collaborative proposals between schools, districts, universities, nonprofit organizations, and community partners. Sessions that highlight partnerships, research-informed practices, and innovative programs are strongly encouraged.

Proposals must be submitted by May 1, 2026
Presenters will be notified by May 10, 2026
*Selected presenters must register to attend the Summit. In recognition of their contribution, discounted registration rates are provided—50% off for primary presenters and 25% off for co-presenters. Presenter discounts are applied to the current registration rate (early bird or regular, member or non-member). Discounted rates are limited to up to two presenters per session.
