9th Annual Teacher Leadership Summit

Engaging All Levels: Black Education Excellence through Equitable Ecosystems. June 21 – 22, 2023

Hundreds of influential leaders and stakeholders will convene for the 9th Annual Teacher Leadership Summit in Phoenix Arizona. As a participant, you will interact with progressive ideas, participate in inclusive dialogue, and experience a breakthrough of thinking regarding culturally relevant practices and education equity.

Join us as we celebrate a shared vision for new opportunities and engage in the change.

The Teacher Leadership Summit will be hosted by the Pilgrim Rest Education Enrichment Center and the Arizona Alliance of Black School Educators (AzABSE). Teachers will receive continuing education units (CEU) for recertification credits

Mission
The National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) is the nation’s premier non-profit organization devoted to furthering the academic success for the nation’s children – particularly children of African descent.

National Priorities
Programming of the national, regional, state and local affiliates will focus in the following areas:

Improvement of student outcomes in the areas of: Early Childhood Access, Literacy, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
Organize Leadership Development Institutes and Career Advancement programs.
Promote educator recognition programs.
Engage in legislative advocacy at local, state, and national level.
Develop a research clearinghouse database focused on the NABSE research agenda.
Redefine the economic model of NABSE for sustainability purposes.
