General Overseer, Co-Founder, Higher Heights Ministry & The Kingdom Lifenet Connection

Pastor Rhonda A. Sweet, along with her husband Bishop Curtis D. Sweet is the visionary founder and shepherd of Higher Heights Ministry, established in August 1993. This passionate and dynamic couple has faithfully labored in the ministry together for over three decades.

Pastor Sweet answered the call to ministry at the age of 20 under the leadership of her spiritual father, the late Bishop Felton King. She served diligently in the Church of God in Christ, Inc., within its structured framework, for more than ten years before launching Higher Heights Ministry alongside her husband.

She is a woman of learning and preparation, having received a Certificate of Evangelism from Manhattan Bible Institute in 2003. Pastor Sweet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and is a Certified Life and Ministry Coach. In recognition of her service and spiritual leadership, a Doctorate of Divinity was conferred upon her in 2018.

A true-servant-leader, Pastor Sweet has faithfully worshipped and served in various capacities within both church and community. She has hosted numerous retreats for women and young girls, passionately teaching and imparting godly principles and life skills designed to position them for success. Her ministry has touched countless lives as she has proclaimed the Gospel on platforms near and far.

Together with her husband, Pastor Sweet also co-founded The Kingdom Lifenet Connection-a growing fellowship of churches and leaders united by shared Kingdom vision and purpose. Through this fellowship, they provide covering, encouragement, and collaborative support to ministries building the Kingdom of God. Pastor Sweet was recently elevated to the office of General Overseer within the fellowship, further solidifying her role in equipping and empowering others.

In addition to her pastoral and apostolic work, Pastor Sweet is the author of The Preacher’s Cookbook, a powerful resource for leaders. She is committed to developing an army of visionary leaders who will birth powerful expansion ministries-saving and transforming lives for the Glory of God’s Kingdom.
