Rabbanni FurQaan is the President of the 100 Black Men of Phoenix, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for African Americans by enhancing educational and economic opportunities. Locally, he serves as Chair of City of Tempe Human Relations Commission, Incoming Chair of Tempe Community Council, Commissioner on the City of Phoenix Youth and Education Commission, Board Member of the Downtown Tempe Authority Foundation and serves on the Tempe Leadership Council.

BRIDGE: Building Relationships to Inspire, Develop, and Grow Education

This workshop explores how innovative community partnerships can strengthen family engagement and provide the wrap-around services needed to foster student success. Through the BRIDGE framework—Building Relationships to Inspire, Develop, and Grow Education—participants will discover practical strategies to connect families with community resources, create sustainable partnerships, and build a thriving ecosystem that supports Black student achievement. Led by the 100 Black Men of Phoenix, this session will showcase real-world examples of collaborative programs that enhance educational outcomes, including mentorship initiatives, family engagement models, and community resource networks. Attendees will leave with actionable steps to cultivate meaningful relationships and implement community-driven solutions that bridge the gap between schools and the broader community.
